It would be a plug and play replacement. When you replace the cell, you'll unscrew your cell from the plumbing and unplug it's cable from the controls. The new cell has it's own threaded cap and new cable.
I may need to replace my cell in my SJ-30. If I replace it with the pictured SJ-40 with the blue cap, here is my question. Does the old cell/sensor attach to the cap? Does the old cap pry off?
