Yes, all SJ cells fit in the same plumbing housing. You could upgrade to a cell as large as the SJ40 cell (SJ55 size systems have a special dedicated Control Module with more powerful components, so if you don't already have that size Control Module it wouldn't work.) In general, bigger is better because the system can create more chlorine with less effort and wear-and-tear, and is usually a better value.
