The flow switch definitely stops generation when the water is not flowing.
I see that the ic20 aftermarket replacement does more. My only worry is that it will run constantly. does the flow switch stop the salt generation when the pump is off? If so, I see no reason for the communication cable anyway. Is there any reason not to replace pentair with aftermarket?
