I am having problems with my pentair lasting, is this one design to last longer, and yes I do clean my pentair. and are the plates in it serviceable?

The APEX P20 Aftermarket Replacement Cell is not designed to last longer than the OEM salt cells. However, the P20 does produce more chlorine at full output, so all other things being equal, it would operate at a slightly lower percentage output for the same level of chlorination and so on that basis may outlive an OEM cell. Regarding serviceability of the cell plates, yes, the actual cell portion is replaceable separate from the electronic controls.
