The ichlor30 is shorter in length. If by chance your ichlor was installed using the ichlor-to-intellichlor adapter kit, you could remove that kit and it would hook right up. If not, then you would just cut out the old cell and plumb in the new cell (it comes with new fittings). Then connect it to the power center on the wall.
