Yes, the cap, or collar actually, can be replaced. I urge you to call our technical support team at (866) 766-5243 and they can assist you with parts, instructions and warranty coverage (if applicable).
The inner plastic ring on my CMP 540 has several cracks around the perimeter causing water to leak out of the housing. The salt generator is working fine. Is there a way to replace the plastic "cap" without replacing the entire cell?
