Its common to use salt chlorinators on above ground pools. They are going to come with unions that allow pvc-glued connection. If you use the type of pvc flex pipe that glues, then you would just use the right diameter union. If you use the type of flex hose that clamps, you would just need a common adapter that lets you glue on one side and clamp on the other.
