For saltwater chlorinators, bigger is always better. Your T-15 was able to make as much chlorine as your pool needed, without wearing itself out as quickly. So in the end, a larger system lasts longer and can be turned up to a higher level to more quickly sanitize the water if pool problems ever arise. If possible, I'd recommend choosing the larger option.
