Yes, that is absolutely correct. With this you will unscrew the old cell, xxxx this new cell in place, and change the cell type to T-9.
Have a pool using a Hayward Aqua-rite T-3 is this T-9 a direct replacement? Would like to increase output. I know I will have to reprogram the control unit. Are control units same for all sizes of cells? When I say direct replacement I mean no plumbing, just unscrew old and xxxx on the new plus reprogram of course.
