Similar to a salt chlorine generator, the pH system works at a set rate. During setup there is a chart that helps you set the system based on your pool size, and the instructions will take you through making small adjustments if needed. Once set, the system needs very little adjustment if any. There is very little concern about lowering the pH too much, so the goal in set up is just to infuse the minimum amount of CO2 in order to keep the pH at your target range and not too high.
