To balance cost and convenience, CircuPool recommends these sizing guidelines, which should require a CO2 refill no more than once every three months*.
One 20 lb. tanks - 12,000 gallon pool or less
Double 20 lb. tanks / one 35 lb. tank - 20,000 gallon pool or less (35 lb. tank sizes should be purchased or rented locally)
Triple 20 lb. tanks - 36,000 gallon pool or less (Recommended size for most residential pool)
Triple 35 lb. tanks - 64,000 gallon pool or less (35 lb. tank sizes should be purchased or rented locally)
You can alter the CO2 tank sizing according to your needs, so that refills are need from monthly to annually.
