Will this work with my unit model: CFIC GEN40-RC? I don’t know what brand it is but it seems to be an aftermarket model that looks similar to this.

No, the APX PERFORMANCE P Series Inner Replacement Cell for the P40, is designed to replace that same portion of the APX PERFORMANCE P-Series Aftermarket Replacement Cell and re-use the original APX PERFORMANCE P Series Control Module.
