You are actually referencing two salt cells. The S340 cell is designed to operate in the new Hayward AquaRite S3 Salt Chlorinators, but the cell can also operate correctly on older AquaRite systems that have used the T-15 Cells.
However, T-15 Cells are not compatible with the S3 Series chlorinators. So, while the APX PERFORMANCE V15 Aftermarket Replacement Cell will operate correctly in a system using the T-15 Cells, it will not operate correctly in an S3 system.
