Have an older Aqua Rite T-15 system (installed in 2003) that I'm looking to replace
CircuPool RJ-30 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator
Salt Chlorinators
. Looks like the CircuPool RJ45 Plus will install exactly the same way as the Aqua Rite, is that correct? In specific, is the flow sensor on the RJ45+ the same size and thread as the Aqua Rite, and can I just replace old with new? Second, I run a Pentair Variable speed pump, and currently, the Auqua Right always has the power light on (not generation), which I am reading is normal and correct when running a VSP, is the correct? Lastly, install would be on a post, outside, in direct sun, some of the day. Does the main module need a protective enclosure or Top Cover/roof of some kind? I know it has external heat sink, so I assume not it should not be placed in a tight fully enclosed box. Thank you

Yes, the cell and flow switch can both xxxx right into existing fittings. You are also correct about the power, this one would work the same. No enclosure is needed either.
