For a salt pool, there isn’t a specific product you need to add to protect the liner—what really matters is keeping the water properly balanced. Maintaining a pH around 7.4–7.6, stabilizer (CYA) in the 30–50 ppm range, and chlorine levels in line with your CYA will help prevent fading and extend the life of the liner. Avoid letting chlorine or pH run too high for extended periods, and try to keep your water chemistry stable overall, as consistent balance is the key to protecting the liner long term.
