If you only want to replace the cell and have it communicate directly with your Aqualink, the only option would be another Jandy PLC1400 cell. If you want a newer salt chlorinator which can run independently and operate in sync with your pool system, while not having to replumb you might consider the CircuPool CORE salt chlorinator with available Jandy adapter kit.
The CORE CONTROL system which can automatically maintain both the chlorine and pH would also be an option using that Jandy adapter kit.
