There are two issues here.
First, your saltwater chlorine generator does not need supplemental chlorine if properly sized for the pool, kept is operating trim, and the water chemistry maintained as outlined in the manual.
Second, if for some reason your pool requires added chlorine, we advise using liquid chlorine which contains no cyanuric acid (stabilizer). Your stabilizer level should be kept between 30 and 50 and chlorine tablets, or pucks, will keep adding to you stabilizer level which can only be reduced by draining and topping off water in your pool.
