Does the APX P-Cell tell you the specific salinity level or only if salinity is within range? APX PERFORMANCE P20 Aftermarket Replacement Cell fits Pentair® IntelliChlor® IC20® Cells | up to 20,000 gallons Fits Pentair

With the Pentair IC 40 unit, it communicates with the Intellitouch system and reports the salinity level on the Intellitouch. From reading the description of the APX Performance P-Series cells like the P20 / P40 / P60, this unit does not communicate with the Intellitouch, therefore, trying to understand if the unit LED screen unit reports the actual salinity level. Thanks

The APX Performance P20, P40, and P60 aftermarket cells do read the specific salinity level and display that on their built-in screen. So as you mention, they are not designed to be connected via the RS-485 low-voltage wiring to send/receive data to an IntelliTouch controller - instead you would just use the onboard cell controls.
