It is possible that there is an electrical fault in the controller or its power feed. Remove power at the breaker and inspect the controller for water intrusion, damaged cables, or burnt smells in the control box or cell. Inspect the cell to make sure there is nothing bridging the plates inside.
If it still trips when you reconnect to a known-good circuit, the issue is likely inside the unit (power supply or cell). In that case, contact support for service options
