CMP / Saline Generating Systems (SGS) made several production updates to their Powerclean Salt Ultra / Breeze control modules over time. Initially, the controller for the largest cell—the 760—had a unique, higher-capacity power supply, meaning only a 760 controller could operate a 760 cell. Controllers included with Breeze 320 and 540 (CMP Powerclean Salt Ultra 320 and 540) could power either the 320 or 540 cells, but not the 760. In later production, all controllers were upgraded to include the larger power supply, making them compatible with any cell size (320, 540, or 760). Therefore, if you have a 760 controller (e.g., CMP Powerclean Salt Ultra 760), it should safely power any smaller cell, including Breeze 320 or 540 replacements or compatible APX aftermarket cells. However, it wouldn't be a safe assumption that a 320 or 540 controller would power a 760 cell. Please reach out if you need further assistance or help with your salt system.
