The CircuPool SmartFlo Adaptive Flow™ Pump would get connected to constant power, and programmed via its app or onboard controls as to when to run. A salt chlorine generator with a flow switch would have its flow switch activate / deactivate chlorination based on when the pump is / isn't circulating the water. If you have a salt chlorine generator that doesn't have a flow switch, you would it on a timer when is programmed to run within the runtimes that you have programmed your pump for.
