The CircuPool EDGE Salt Chlorine Generator's control panel is designed with outdoor durability in mind. There is no cover needed to put over the control panel. In should hold up well as it's built for prolonged use in various environments, as long as it is installed and operated according to the manual and given reasonable protections (for example, don't install it where a sprinkler might be pointing or under a downspout or above a pool heater).
