This salt chlorinator works independently of any other brand/model equipment, and is meant to automatically activate/deactivate based on the pump's operation. If on the other hand, you are looking for a data connection to read salinity and make output adjustments, that isn't typical & you're probably locked into your current model. However, those things on average only need seasonal attention for most people, so you may want to weigh that with other larger benefits.
