I’m new to salt water pools and the circupool which we installed this summer. We leave our pool running all winter even though it is cold. What do we need to do for circupool part? Shut off? Leave it in running, etc? And if running, what setting should it go on? View answer

I am growing weary of throwing money at Hayward Products. We are needing to replace a Aquatrol-RJ for a hard sided 24' Dia. above ground pool. Will the Universal40 work for us and our pool? The RJ45+ is 6 years old. The unit shuts down on low salt every day have to turn power off to reset. I have tested the water at local Leslie pool store and they stated the salinity is 3300 PPM. I removed generator and found no scale but cleaned in muriatic acid bath anyway. No Scale was present in water after cleaning. the generator reads average of 3100 PPM salt and when chlorinating it reads 3500 PPM View answer

I have a variable speed pump that controls all the timing onboard and the pump shuts off at night. If I directly wire this unit to a breaker can I just use the flow valve to control the chlorinator? The wiring instructions show it being wired to a timer, which I don't have in my system. View answer

My PVC runs horizontal, and have pipe running parallel, under the section where I need to install this, which doesn’t leave me with enough clearance needed for the bottom of the cell. Can I pivot this when installing so the controls are back at an angle, and the bottom of the cell is more towards the front, to get around the PVC below? Or does this need to be installed straight up and down as shown? View answer
