I have a variable speed pump and I am concerned about the minimum flow rate required for this unit. Does this unit have a flow rate sensor that shuts the unit off if the flow rate is below 30gpm? I wonder about how long a unit would have to run to provide adequate chlorination?For example, I have an 18,000 gallon inground pool with a single stage 1 1/2 HP pump, if I was to purchase the sj-40 (or even the sj-55) how long would it have to run per day to keep the pool chlorinated?
