There is no salt container for any modern salt chlorine generator for residential pools - any added salt goes directly into your pool water to achieve a very low level of salinity (about 3000-3500ppm, which for context is adjacent to "freshwater" at up to 1000ppm and not comparable to ocean "saltwater" at 35000ppm). Modern salt chlorine generators continually recycle this low level of natural salt in the pool water. Is it possible you are thinking of a different type of technology which continually needs salt to be added to a very large brine tank to generate liquid chlorine?
