My pipe size is 1.5 inch. I gather this system is 2” and I wish to install this unit in place of an in-line Hayward chlorination. Each hook up is screen fittings wit a threaded union. I want to make it easy and likely I will need the reducer from 2” to 1.5”. Any suggestions?

This adapter kit is for an existing Hayward salt chlorinator's unions. In your case, you would just cut out your existing in-line chlorinator, and install the salt system in its place. For 1.5" plumbing, you'll simply use off-the-shelf PVC reducer bushings from the hardware store.
