The Hayward AQR-15 (40,000 gallon) unit has 1.4 lbs/day chlorine output, a fairly expensive replacement cell, and a 1 year limited warranty. The Universal40 has 2.0 lbs/day chlorine output, a less expensive replacement cell, and a 4 year limited warranty.
