Within reason, there its hard to have a ""too big"" chlorine generator. You control its output setting and how long it runs, so that typically allows complete control. On the flip side, having excess capacity is a big benefit since it works less hard to produce the amount of chlorine needed - extending its lifespan and allow you to turn it up on demand and more quickly knock out potential pool problems. I wouldn't remove the UV system as that is a great supplemental way to reduce chlorine demand. If you have room, you can leave the chlorine tablet dispenser and stop filling it, otherwise remove it since the chlorine generator is functionally taking its place. With the UV system, you might be able to utilize a smaller model and still have plenty of capacity; I would consider if any potential savings in doing so add up to much if anything in the long run. Any pool does need low CYA readings within spec, so if that involves draining some pool water I would do that before adding salt to the water. The chlorine generator can get added to the pool essentially at any time, just don't turn it on until you've added salt to the water.
