The APX PERFORMANCE E-CHLOR unit should, according to the manufacturer, be installed horizontally and they also indicate the need for an 11 inch span of pipe for installation.
Does it matter if the salt system is installed vertical or does it have to be installed horizontal? I don't think i have enough pipe in the horizontal to install it that way.
