The APX PERFORMANCE E-CHLOR Plug-In Electronic Chlorine Generator will only operate when the pump is running. Within the Cell Housing, the E-CHLOR has a Flow Switch which detects waterflow and allows the Chlorinator to operate until it no longer detects circulation or the waterflow drops below the minimum necessary for safe operation.
