Tony gave a no answer answer. The cell will still gnerate chlorine. Tony we know the clorine needs to be lowered. The question is will the thing still work????
Just installed this, replacing my Intellichlor40, and the Salt Level light is blinking red. I check the salinity level and its at 4790, which is just over the 4500 for the ideal range. Will this unit still produce chlorine with this level of salt and the Salt High light blinking? Thank you. APX PERFORMANCE P40 Complete Salt Chlorine Generator
