The APX PERFORMANCE P40 aftermarket replacement salt cell is comparable to the Pentair IntelliChlor IC-40, as it is guaranteed to work with Pentair IntelliChlor IC-40 models and is a great alternative choice for your salt chlorinator system when replacing your old Pentair salt cell. However, the cell can only be powered by Pentair automation systems and settings must be changed using the cell's own control module.
