According to the product page, the APX PERFORMANCE P40 cell does not utilize an RS-485 or data connection, which means it will not integrate with Pentair's automation systems or communicate with the Pentair app if the automation system has wi-fi connectivity. Instead, these cells simply receive power from the power supply that the previous cell was connected to, and is operated from its onboard controls and screen. It reports the salinity level and its chlorine output is adjustable in 10% increments, and has onboard diagnostics. Please let us know what other questions you might have.
