Regarding the frequency of cell cleaning, this will not change based on anything related to the equipment but instead is squarely based on a specific water chemistry balance level, which is your pool's saturation index level (LSI). If unbalanced, it will lead to more frequent build up (even to the degree of requiring daily cleaning if severe enough). If balanced, it will achieve less frequent seasonal cleaning that is more typical. The linked guide or web searches for popular "pool saturation index calculators" can assist in addressing this.
