What are the dimensions of the O-Ring? The xxxx on cover I have is 5" across and 4 5/8" just inside the lip of the cover. I do not see any groove in the clear housing for an O-Ring. I have the Breeze Salt Generating System Model 760 and we just replaced the housing. View answer

I have just enough space to maybe not use this but if I decide to get this. I have 2 questions. The 1st is will it decrease pressure in the system because of adding a vertical section.
