The red ""salt level"" light is blinking and the display message on the controller says ""WARNING: ADD WATER"" The unit will not generate chlorine. I just bought a CircuPool SmartFlo VS 1.5. How long should it take to prime? I have filled basket up and turned pump on and opened pressure valve on filter. In videos it seems like it only takes a few seconds for water to start coming out of pressure valve on filter. I have left my pump on for 3-4 min and never get water. Shut off pump cause afraid of hurting something. Should I leave on longer? View answer

Currently there is a check valve on the return from my heater back into pool. I know the chlorine generator needs to be the last thing on the return before going back to pool. My question is does the check valve need to stay on between the heater and pool or can it be eliminated from the equation? What are the dimensions, primarily length of the salt generator cell/container and the flow sensor conduit? I have limited space between my heater and the returns to the pool and spa and need to make sure this will fit with the additions 12” from the heater to the flow sensor. Thanks Sean View answer
