For the pump CircuPool SmartFlo® Variable Speed Pool Pump 1.5, if it does not use the old mechanical timer, how do you control the attached cleaner booster pump. It is currently wired where the pump must be on for it to be on. View answer

Good morning from Alabama. Currently I have an Aqua Rite chlorinator system with a T-15 cell. I am looking to purchase a new RJ-45 system to replace my lightening destroyed system. My power source is 230 volt and I am wonder if this will work with the RJ-45. Also. is the RJ-45 over kill for my pool also? I like over kill as my pool is in direct sunlight all day during the summer. Thank you and I am glad I found your website. View answer

When I was reading the installation instructions for the RJ45 plus, it states if using with a variable speed pump (on a low speed setting) that the cell must be inverted. If I'm installing the RJ45 plus vertically, does that mean I can't use the low speed on my variable speed pump? View answer

Ordered and received my CircuPool TJ Series ""Typhoon"" Pre-Filter that came with an inline bypass (Part Number: TJ-BYPASS) for use with DE. How is this to be installed? There were no instructions whatsoever. It appears multiple additional fittings are required to complete installation (based on the photo of the TJ-BYPASS-KIT model). Should I have ordered the TJ-PASS-KIT? Very confused and frustrated that this is delaying the opening of my pool as I expected to be able to immediately install the pre-filter upon receipt. We have a chlorine application system in our HOA pool, 45,000 gal. Since we have really high natural UV daytime levels, can we only run the UV system in order to avoid destroying chlorine levels we apply? View answer

Do the arrows on the cell indicate water flow direction? I plan to install my cell vertically, but the wires would have to be at the bottom if this is water flow direction, which could get rain/etc in the wire holes? View answer

Our big issue is hemlock needles. Much shorter than typical evergreen needles at about 1-1.5in so they get through the skimmer and filter baskets and once they clog the de filter they also don't rinse out with a backwash. But they are light enough to float. Will this pre filter help or will they get through because they aren't heavy enough? View answer
