What type of salt do I use and where to get it? View answer

I have a 16,000 gallon inground gunite pool, with heater, Ultra UV2 light, inline tablet chlorinator and want to switch to a SWG. Can I install a RJ-60+ or is that too big? Do I need to remove the Ultra UV2 light and inline tablet chlorinator? Also, my CYA level are extremely high, do I need to get those down before converting? View answer

Is the rated lifespan of the cell determined when running at 100%? So if the lifespan is 15k hours, is it safe to assume we could get closer to 30k hours running at 50%? Just trying to ballpark what to expect. View answer

I just installed the core 35 and it works great. My pump is on a timer and my generator is plugged in. When the pump turns off the unit shows ""no flow"". Is it ok to just leave it on with the no flow indicator or will cause a problem with my generator ? I have no problem hard wiring it to the timer, do I just cut the plug off and wire to timer ? or is there a separate power cable sold for hard wire to timer ? View answer

I've decided to go with the CORE55 unit. The installation video looks pretty simple, but the piping is 2"" and I have 1.5"" pipes and the total span I'll be install the unit into is 14-15 inches. Does the unit come with adapters for 1.5"" pipe and is the span from the filter to the return too short? View answer

Does it matter if the salt system is installed vertical or does it have to be installed horizontal? I don't think i have enough pipe in the horizontal to install it that way. This is for the E-CHLOR plug in. View answer

My PVC runs horizontal, and have pipe running parallel, under the section where I need to install this, which doesn’t leave me with enough clearance needed for the bottom of the cell. Can I pivot this when installing so the controls are back at an angle, and the bottom of the cell is more towards the front, to get around the PVC below? Or does this need to be installed straight up and down as shown? View answer

What are the dimensions of the unit. I need to know the width of hook-up from inlet to outlet hook-up and the distance from the centerline of the pipe hook-up to the bottom of the cartridge. View answer
