Our big issue is hemlock needles. Much shorter than typical evergreen needles at about 1-1.5in so they get through the skimmer and filter baskets and once they clog the de filter they also don't rinse out with a backwash. But they are light enough to float. Will this pre filter help or will they get through because they aren't heavy enough? View answer

How does the pre-filter handle cotton wood? Does it clog the system, move to the clear collection area (ideal), or pass thru to the primary filter? Our current situation can create a blanket around our cartridge filter. View answer

We are considering converting our pool to salt water and are also in need of a new pump. Would this package be adequate for a 16x36 foot inground pool (8 ft on the deep end 4 ft on the shallow)? Can I replace my CPSC 16 with a CPSC 24? I have a 15,000 pool but it wasn't able to produce quiet enough chlorine for the pool so I had to supplement with tablets. Maybe the CPSC 24 will charge a little better in my same equipment. View answer

Power and polarity lights are lit. Salt level is good by independent analysis and water flow is good. No Flow light stays lit and therefore cell will not generate chlorine. Is the flow sensor/switch integral to the replacement cell or is it a different assembly? View answer
