My Pentair Intellichlor salt chlorine generator model 40 is not working I have spent over $500 in chemicals the last month it’s not producing it’s chlorine but I do not know the difference between a cell and a generator which one do I need the generator or the cell? My PVC runs horizontal, and have pipe running parallel, under the section where I need to install this, which doesn’t leave me with enough clearance needed for the bottom of the cell. Can I pivot this when installing so the controls are back at an angle, and the bottom of the cell is more towards the front, to get around the PVC below? Or does this need to be installed straight up and down as shown? View answer
