I have a Pentair IC40 today. I like this option. Will it plug directly into the old 4 pin outlet on the Intellitouch that was previously used by the IC40? I understand that it will not transmit data, but what exactly will not work on the Intellitouch? I'm guessing I won't be able to program it from the Intellitouch display, but that isn't a big deal. What about flow signals? View answer

I bought the phosphate test strip kit from you. I says I need to dip strip in a vial and compare water color change to card for phosphate level. What vial? There was none in kit and there is no reference to vial size in documentation. Without it strips are useless...help!! View answer

I see that the ic20 aftermarket replacement does more. My only worry is that it will run constantly. does the flow switch stop the salt generation when the pump is off? If so, I see no reason for the communication cable anyway. Is there any reason not to replace pentair with aftermarket? View answer

Can the data cable for the PoolSync transmitter be replaced with a longer one? My pool equipment is on the far side of the pool from my house and wouldn't otherwise reach the Wi-Fi signal unless I can run 50' or so of data cable and mount it closer to the house. View answer

I have a Pentair sys with IC 40 and have read that Pentair says I can replace it with a IC 60 and set it at a lower setting and it will last longer. Can I use the CFICGEN60 to replace the IC 40 that is going bad the same way View answer

I use this unit on the lowest setting for my salt water(NaCL)hot tub and it works great! I’m considering switching to bromine due to my wife’s skin sensitivity. Will it generate bromine if I flush the system and add the sodium bromide? If so, where would I buy It(NaBr)? Thanks View answer

My pump runs 24hrs a day, 4 hours on a high setting and the rest on a low circulation. Will the cell also run 24hrs a day and therefore burn out in around 400 days? Should I put the cell on a timer or just let it run constantly? View answer
