Suppose that the average air temperature in winter is 56 F and the pool sits at 56 F. On the smallest unit, how much power (or current at 208 V) would be required to raise a 20,000 pool to 75F? With solar blanks on the surface, how much power would be needed then to maintain it at 75 F? Then in the summer, the average temperature is 78 F but we want it to be 82 F. The red ""salt level"" light is blinking and the display message on the controller says ""WARNING: ADD WATER"" The unit will not generate chlorine. Just installed this, replacing my Intellichlor40, and the Salt Level light is blinking red. I check the salinity level and its at 4790, which is just over the 4500 for the ideal range. Will this unit still produce chlorine with this level of salt and the Salt High light blinking? Thank you. View answer

Does it matter if the salt system is installed vertical or does it have to be installed horizontal? I don't think i have enough pipe in the horizontal to install it that way. This is for the E-CHLOR plug in. View answer
