I have a Pentair IC40 today. I like this option. Will it plug directly into the old 4 pin outlet on the Intellitouch that was previously used by the IC40? I understand that it will not transmit data, but what exactly will not work on the Intellitouch? I'm guessing I won't be able to program it from the Intellitouch display, but that isn't a big deal. If I connect this to an external timer, will this start self priming when power is connected? Also can you set the default speed it will then lower itself too automatically? It needs to retain this setting since external timer will disconnect power. View answer

I bought the phosphate test strip kit from you. I says I need to dip strip in a vial and compare water color change to card for phosphate level. What vial? There was none in kit and there is no reference to vial size in documentation. Without it strips are useless...help!! View answer

Hello, I am considering the package deal for the variable speed pump and chlorinator. I currently have a Hayward Superpump II, 1HP single speed pump. We have a solar pool heater with a Hayward/Goldline 35 controller. Is there a way or an output on the pump that would trigger the solar controller only at higher pump speeds? Or is there a way for the solar controller to trigger the pump to go faster? I suspect I need to purchase a new controller as well. Is there a controller you'd recommend? It moves a Jandy valve to turn the solar on and off based on pool and solar temps.Thanks! View answer
