I see that the ic20 aftermarket replacement does more. My only worry is that it will run constantly. does the flow switch stop the salt generation when the pump is off? If so, I see no reason for the communication cable anyway. Is there any reason not to replace pentair with aftermarket? View answer

So when the time clock and pool are off, the control module shuts off too?Also my control module is mounted in direct sunlight and exposed to weather. Is the self contain unit ok or need to be in an additional inclosure?If I double the pool gallons to select the size of the generator is this enough? View answer

I have a pool that was installed around 2008 (bought the house after it had been here several years) which has a Hayward Goldline AquaRite Salt system that currently has a T-CELL-15 40,000 gallon pool cell installed. I have the Pentair EasyTouch automation center and the IC40 salt cell, which is bad now. Will the APX P40 or P60 work with the controller. I just need power from the EasyTouch correct?
