I am considering going salt. I have a pentair system. My pool is just under 20k gals. Would the salt generator for a 60k gal pool be overkill? As my pool seems to grow algae easier and often. I get my pool water checked 2-3 times a week. Almost always I’m low on chlorine. I typically go through 6 bags of shock per week and 5 gals of liquid shock along with chlorine tablets. And my water is very seldom clear. ALL my numbers/levels are within range.. I havnt seen the bottom of my pool in a couple months. My hope is that a salt generator would get things better.
