Have a pool using a Hayward Aqua-rite T-3 is this T-9 a direct replacement? Would like to increase output. I know I will have to reprogram the control unit. I've decided to go with the CORE55 unit. The installation video looks pretty simple, but the piping is 2"" and I have 1.5"" pipes and the total span I'll be install the unit into is 14-15 inches. The inner plastic ring on my CMP 540 has several cracks around the perimeter causing water to leak out of the housing. The salt generator is working fine. Is there a way to replace the plastic ""cap"" without replacing the entire cell? View answer
